Hello all,
I hope that you have had a fun and peaceful Christmas! We had a good one with all the attendant rush and overindulgence. Luckily, we also had some blustery winter weather over Boxing Day and today to give us a good excuse for staying home and relaxing (except for a little sledding and playing in the snow).
This gave me plenty of time to occupy and I decided to do a little, stress free painting. Having no winter source material at hand (it was plain old white looking out the window) I went back into my photo archives and picked something that would provide a simple, spare composition. The result is above. It only took about 4-5 hours all said and done. What an excellent way to while away the snowy hours!
If there is anyone out there that would like it, send me an email at peglleduc@gmail.com and I would be happy to post it to you for free. (Update: painting has a new home – in Colombia!!)
Best wishes to you all, and a very happy New Year!
Yours, HD
I love the clouds and the sky.
Thank you fan club of 1! I love you!!
I think it is beautiful too and I love my painting!!! It is in the living room for everyone to enjoy!!! Hope your holiday was lovely! I just met my inlays next door neighbors and they live in Switzerland and summer in Brazil for the holiday! They said that they will give me their address there to come visit. I think were going to try to get over to Europe this coming year so we can meet up for in person hugs!!! my BFF move to Spain so we will head that way as well! Miss you so, but glad to see you are finding time to create such lovely pieces. Big hug to you Luv!
